Kate Lacey has worked as a freelance photographer ever since graduating from Sarah Lawrence College. She started out as a photo editor at various magazines for 6 years, while spending her free time shooting personal projects. Kate began shooting full time in 2001. Her early work was featured in the prestigious DoubleTake book, 25 and Under/Photographers, which provided “a look at how a new generation is seeing and interpreting the world”. She currently spends her time working a variety of advertising and editorial assignments as well as being involved in an ongoing book project, about the Westminster dog show.
