Jenni Shaw started painting and drawing before she could talk. She drew over magazine faces and used her mother's makeup to give her Cabbage Patch Kids smoky eyes. At age 12 Jenni enrolled in her first makeup course. By age 19 Mrs. Shaw (nee Kline) was freelancing as a makeup artist while simultaneously obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology. After graduation Jenni moved to Japan for a short stint as a teacher before settling down in New York City. It was here that she attended the Make-Up Designory in Soho graduating from the Fashion Make-Up Artistry program with straight A's, refined skills, and a new love of this art form. Jenni Shaw continually does runway makeup for Fashion Week, and has worked with designers such as Cynthia Rowley, Lauren Moffatt, and Tuleh. Her editorial work includes a range of publications from Noi.se and Teen Vogue to Portfolio and People Magazine. Television work includes commercials for Bank of America, Outback Steakhouse, Sprint, and Tylenol. Jenni is currently based in New York City where she continues to pursue her passion for painting and drawing....on people.
