Angela Campos, sometimes credited under the pen name Blackwater, is an artist specializing in conceptual work. Her style is characterized by arresting images that defy convention. In 2008 she was part of a group exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Her contribution, entitled Meat Dept., subsequently sold at auction. Ms. Campos is currently working on a series that incorporates film noir technique.
