Jasmin Hernandez: Artist Representative

Jasmin Hernandez was born and raised in New York City. At a very young age she became intrigued with the arts by means of cinema, art/ photography books and fashion magazines. In the 1990s as a teenager she was enthralled by the power of the fashion greats such as Alaia, Versace and their supermodel muses. She made it her dedication to pursue a career in fashion and in 2002 she graduated from Parsons.

Jasmin started with Italian design houses Blumarine and Anna Molinari, assisting on press and sales.  Next, she transitioned into magazines with two strong years at Vanity Fair as a style associate. Traveling to exotic destinations, and working with notable photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier and Annie Liebovitz, reinforced her passion for the industry.  Freelance stints as a photo editor/photo producer for The New York Times Magazine and New York Magazine, respectively, further strengthened her experiences. Jasmin has also lent her talents to media giants Niche Media and AMI on long term photo-related positions.  Since 2005, Jasmin has collaborated with AO Production and organizes fashion shows for top designers during NY Fashion Week.

Jasmin lives and works in NYC and includes travel, reading amazing books, and visiting stimulating art galleries/museums among her hobbies.

As a child he found his escape by immersing himself in popular culture-he was particularly inspired by the imagery in advertising, movies and magazines. This varied background has prepared him for the challenge of working well with a variety of players, balancing the client's deadlines, budgets and creative visions with the artists needs.

Developing the agency combines his passion for people and the popular arts with his innate need to create order out of chaos.
